Grandpa Ott Visits DC

by Derek—2006.05.19 @ 0823

We recently enjoyed entertaining Grandpa Ott for a few days last week in our new home. We had a lot of fun touring Mount Vernon, the Smithsonian, and points inbetween. Grandpa Ott also treated us to an opera at the Kennedy Center: La Clemenza di Tito (e.g., The Clemency of Titus). The opera featured music by Mozart, but it was not as exciting as some other operas I’ve seen. The story, however, is fun and has some unique twists, including some humor sprinkled here-and-there. It was just fun to return to the opera and watch it with my wife and family.
