Last night we enjoyed an evening of Polynesia, presented by our hosts, the Auna family. Sheri Auna, our aunt, was adopted by my grandmother when she was very young. Sheri has been dancing all her life and teaches dance professionally, including modern, jazz, tap, and hula.
The luau included a feast of traditional and modern Polynesian dishes, including salt pork, teriaki chicken, rice, and multiple side-dishes.
Sheri's three youngest daughters were key dancers in her troupe; all of whom did very well.
