People keep telling me that winning an office for the Senior Class is a life-term committment. Well, I suppose part of that is coming true with my upcoming 10-year reunion, planned for late August, 2004. I was "elected" to help organize (along with a group of other talented graduates) the reunion, and preprations are well in-hand.
A new alumni web-site has been established where alumni can go and register, get news and updates, and even sign up for upcoming reunions. I volunteered to help steer this portion of the publicity, as well as help with the other committee work for activities.
In all actuality, I am very excited about this reunion. Hopefully we will be able to catch a Dixie home game (football), have a morning activity (and breakfast) for families, and an evening dinner.
The big challenge will be collecting images and video footage for the evening slideshow.
We all have memories, some good, some not-so-good, but hopefully the 12-year (or more) experience has been benefitial to all.
